So this game I have decided to not classify as a 'full on dinosaur game' because I am omnipotent and all powerful. OK, so you don't believe the omnipotent line but, that won't stop me from saying it. Who knows this could be the start of a new religion?!?!?
Anyway, on topic this is an expansion for the Unmatched battle game so part of a bigger gaming system. I am really wanting to try this one as the battle system seems really adaptable and interesting whilst allowing for fights between many types of characters from Dinosaurs and Bruce Lee to Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde. Sadly, there does not seem to be many Unmatched games for sale in the UK and if you can find them they are expensive. I always see it on American sites though pretty cheap which, makes me sad. Hulk smash.....no not my game table.....arrrrggghhhh!!
According to the rankings on BGG this is the 3rd best unmatched expansion, although some like the Bruce Lee expansion have no ranking as yet.
This version of Unmatched see's you playing as either the Ingen Warden & Security Team or the Raptors. This is an asymmetrical game like the other Unmatched games so each character has their own unique deck of cards to suit their playstyle and theme. The Raptors are quick and agile whereas, the Ingen player will have better abilities when fighting from range.
I just really want to play Unmatched and this expansion looks great too.
